Saudi Arabia Extends Citizen’s Account Program Through 2025

Riyadh:  Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has approved the extension of the Citizen’s Account Program, along with additional financial support for its beneficiaries, until the end of 2025. The decision, based on the recommendation of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, reflects the leadership’s commitment to easing economic burdens on Saudi citizens and improving their living conditions.

Launched to shield families from the impacts of economic reforms, the program provides direct financial assistance to eligible beneficiaries. The directive also ensures the continuation of open registration, allowing more citizens to access this critical support. This extension builds on King Salman’s previous initiative from July 2022, reinforcing the government’s focus on social welfare amidst changing economic conditions. The Citizen’s Account Program continues to be a cornerstone of Saudi Arabia’s efforts to promote economic stability and protect its people.
